ATHENS, GA. October 11-26, 2024. This month, community members are invited to visit the Books for Keeps Book Warehouse to get free books to share with their community, helping to further expand book access and literacy for all.
Books for Keeps will host its 5th Annual Community Book Fair during the first three weekends in October (Oct. 11-13, 17-19, 24-26) at its Book Warehouse at 420 Athena Drive in Athens, GA. All guest are invited to take up to 100 free books per day. Books provided at the event are new and gently-used titles donated by the community throughout the year and include selections for children, adults, educators, and more. Last year’s event gave away 66,275 books to 2,567 visitors from 233 counties.
This event is free to the public, made possible by donations from community members and from local business sponsors including:

Thursday October 17th, 9:00-11:00AM; Brunch & Browse - Ticketed networking event including breakfast. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online or at the door.
